Thrift Store COVID-19 FAQs

To protect the public, the following safety protocols are in place:

  • Since the World Health Organization and the U.S. Government terminated the Coronavirus emergency, there are no restrictions at LISTEN locations.  You are welcome to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable wearing one.
  • Which stores are open and what are your hours?

    Our Miracle Mile store in Lebanon is open every day from 9am to 6pm. Donations are accepted from 9am to 3pm.


    Our White River Junction store is open every day from 10am to 5pm. This location does NOT Accept donations.


    Our Canaan Store is open every day from 10am to 5pm. Donations are accepted from 9am to 3pm.

  • Are you taking volunteers to work in the stores?

    We are excited to share that we are now welcoming individual volunteers as well as groups of four in our thrift stores. This is a fun opportunity for families and small work teams to get involved with LISTEN. Due to the incredible generosity of the community, we have an overwhelming amount of donations to sort through and every extra set of hands helps.

  • Will you have masks available for customers?

    Yes we will have masks available. You must wear a mask in our stores for the safety of our staff and other shoppers.

  • Will hand sanitizer be available for customers?

    Yes, alcohol-based hand sanitizer will be available.

  • What should I expect when I come to shop?

    For the safety of all our staff and shoppers, you must wear a mask to enter our stores. Our employees and volunteers will be required to wear masks for your and their safety as well. Hand sanitizers will still be available for all our shopping guests.


    We are very excited to return to so many of our pre-pandemic protocols about shopping and truly appreciate how respectful our customers have been in following CDC guidelines during this difficult interim period of safely opening.

  • Will you have specific shopping hours for Senior Citizens?

    At this time, we do not have specific hours for seniors.

  • Will your dressing rooms be open?

    Dressing rooms are available and included in our sanitizing routines. We respectfully request that customers return items they do not intend to purchase to the appropriate place on the sales floor.

  • Will you allow customers to use the bathrooms?

    Bathrooms are made available at LISTEN locations. Currently, our Canaan, NH store is unable to provide public restrooms due to facility issues beyond our control.

  • How will you keep the debit/credit card scanner clean?

    Our staff are regularly sanitizing common surfaces, including credit card machines per CDC guidelines. Scanners will be routinely sanitized.
